1. Introduction

These User Terms ("Terms") govern the use of the online English language education services offered by Target English Academy (hereinafter referred to as the "ORGANIZATION"). www.targetenglishacademy.com.tr   ("USER" or "STUDENT") declares that he/she has read, understood and accepted these Terms.

2. Definition of the Service

CORPORATION offers online English language education through digital platforms (Zoom etc.). Training content, teacher staff, day and time information are determined by the CORPORATION. The USER participates in the service by paying according to the program they choose.

3. Registration and Level Determination

The USER can take a free placement test before registration. Classes consist of groups of minimum 4 and maximum 8 people. Each lesson time is 60 minutes. Classes that are not attended are deemed to have been held and cannot be made up.

4. Private Lessons

One-on-one private lessons are held at the times determined jointly by the USER and the teacher. Private lessons that are not canceled 24 hours in advance are deemed to have been held.

5. Payment and Pricing

The training fee is determined according to the prices on the official website of the CORPORATION and is paid by credit card or bank transfer. Participation in the course cannot be made before the payment is completed. The USER is entitled to a %5 discount on subsequent course registrations.

6. Termination and De-registration

The USER can cancel his/her registration within the first 2 class hours. In this case, he/she is obliged to pay for the delivered materials. In case of cancellation after this period, the fee is not refunded and the entire package is charged. For payments made by credit card, bank charges belong to the USER.

7. Registration Freeze

The USER who purchases more than one course has the right to freeze registration, provided that he/she continues the training within 6 months, valid at the beginning of the new course. This right is not valid for the ongoing course. Even if the registration is frozen, payments must be made on the specified dates.

8. Use of Personal Data and Images

The USER's personal data will be processed and stored for 5 years within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) only for the purpose of conducting and documenting the training service and fulfilling legal obligations. Photographs and videos taken during the training may be used for promotional purposes. The use of recognizable images is subject to written permission.

9. Intellectual Property

All educational materials, content, videos and lecture notes provided by the CORPORATION are protected by intellectual property rights. The USER cannot reproduce, distribute or use these materials for commercial purposes.

10. Disclaimer of Liability

CORPORATION cannot be held responsible for technical failures, connection problems or interruptions due to force majeure. The content and teaching staff of the service may be changed by the CORPORATION when deemed necessary.

11. Legal Proceedings and Competent Court

If the USER does not fulfill the payment obligation, all installments specified in the contract become due and payable. Legal proceedings are initiated. In all disputes Mersin Courts and Enforcement Offices is authorized.
